Thank’s for checking me out! I started I Eat Freely for anyone who’s curious on how you can make the same dishes you eat at your favourite restaurants at home. As well as showing new techniques and recipes.
This blog is to show the simplicity around cooking (and the science around it). That’s why I started cooking! To see the faces upon my guests as they take that first bite. I’ve worked in a few places around the globe, and am currently living in Bristol, UK at Goldbrick House.
At Goldbrick, every single day the kitchen produces a creative menu for lunch and dinner. They have joined forces with St. Georges Theater so the guests may enjoy a fantastic meal at Goldbrick House, and be able to turn the corner with a full stomach to attend a show at two courses for £10.00 or three courses for £13.00 – Super value and delicious food. A choice of 3 starters, mains and desserts always containing a vegetarian option. Changes daily and served from 6.00 p.m until 6.45
Can I still order from the early evening menu if I’m not attending St. Georges?
Absolutely!!! If you’re a regular at Goldbrick House or have never been, you cannot miss out on our lunch and early evening menu. That’s what keeps our passion and imagination active and is what has brought me to create this blog.
I’ve been so fortunate to have worked at one of the best restaurants in Canada, La Belle Auberge. As well as a stage at The Meridiano Restaurant in Bern Switzerland. Now being at Goldbrick House, the creative support within the kitchen and front of house has given myself and the kitchen the opportunity to create the foods we dream about. The best part is…Our customers pay next to nothing for it!
What do you like to do for fun?
I started to play guitar again, learned a bit of Japanese, and while I do love cooking, working more than 60 hours a week in the restaurant; you need something to keep yourself in check. I’m always trying to figure out if there’s something other than partying and chasing girls, but they’re still probably my favourite things to do. Someone’s got to be the bad boy, right? -David Adjey
So I hope you enjoy, and would love anyone to attempt anything I post and let me know how it went!
Cheers,
Michael
